Recently, I made a TikTok video inviting Americans to come up to my small Canadian city on the same weekend, and spend their money in our economy.
The video accidentally went viral. More than 2,000 people signed up, saying they are more than likely going to come on the weekend of April 25-27.
(How many actually will? No idea, but even if a quarter show up, that’ll have a huge positive impact on the mid-Island’s economy.)
It's like Doug's Winter Party, except there'll be bannock.
