Vancouver Island is on the far left side of Canada, and it’s the single most beautiful place on Earth. To get here, you take a ferry or plane. (There are no bridges connecting us to the mainland.) The city of Vancouver is on the mainland.
The City of Nanaimo sits on the traditional territory of the Snuneymuxw, Snaw-naw-as, and Stzuminus people, upon whose ancestral lands we are all grateful to live, work, and gather.
Our climate is gentle by Canadian standards — mild winters, early springs, and the kind of air that makes you breathe deeper.
